Homemade strawberry jam

One of the things I miss the most is since changing my diet is to enjoy one of moms homebaked buns with some jam! Though most jams are full of sugar and other additives so I figured - why not just make my own?

500g strawberries
1 tbsp lemon juice (just squeeze from a lemon)
2 tbsp stevia

Chop the strawberries and mix all ingredients in a pot over medium heat. Stir a lot for around 10 minutes, then mash the strawberries with a fork while letting it cook. Let it cook for around 40 minutes until it's thick. Let it cool and transfer to a jar.
